The history:
This blog has existed two other incarnations. The first, from 2008-2010 was inksplAt which contained book reviews, writing samples, and musings from my days as a bookseller. The majority of inksplAt was eaten by the internet goblins.

The second, from 2012-2014 was 10,000 hours of writing. The purpose of 10,000 hours of writing was to experience hours upon hours of the written word, but not necessarily to actually write for 10,000 hours (see: How 10,000 hours of writing is a useless goal for writers).
